Hyde Park Jazz Society presents Ari Brown July 4, 2010

Chicago Tribune’s Howard Reich describes saxophonist ARI BROWN as being "what Chicago tenordom is all about, including a larger-than-life presence, a profound affinity with blues expression and an unquenchable thirst for novel sounds." This Sunday, ARI BROWN is going to bring fireworks to Room 43. And this is a Sunday night where most of you can stay late and sleep in on a holiday Monday! Whether at Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, Symphony Center, or ROOM 43, ARI BROWN is the saxophonist whom everyone wants to hear.

Founded by James W. Wagner, the  HYDE PARK JAZZ SOCIETY presents Sunday Jazz at Room 43, 1043 E. 43rd St., Chicago, IL.

Sunday, July 4, 2010 from 7:30 – 11:30 pm

FEATURING: ARI BROWN, Saxophonist,  Kirk Brown, piano; Yosef Ben Israel, bass;  Dr. Cuz, percussion; Avreeayl Ra, drums

Requested Cash Donation: $10. Students with university ID and children accompanied by an adult: $5 .  ROOM 43 has a bar service &  offers "jazz bites" that range from shrimp to chicken Caesar salad, from gumbo to cheesecake. ROOM 43: 1.5 blocks East of Ellis (Just past Berkeley) on the south side of the street at the bus stop sign w/orange awnings in front. On street parking in area & at "ONE STOP" (43rd & Lake Park) & valet parking is $5.
