April Sings For Marty
"April Sings", for Marty, and beautifully done by the Pat Mallinger Quartet at the Green Mill, in Chicago, on the day of Marty’s funeral. I cried as I recorded this (as my mom just died Dec. 23rd) but also because it is was performed, WITH LOVE. Marty was Pat’s father-in-law and Pat’s wife Tamara Wiley could not be at the party as she was attending services for her dad out of state. We sure missed her that night, but as per requested, this song helped us all be with her and her family, especially Marty.
